About

Flourish Robots Corporation is a United States company, incorporated in Delaware and registered at 1111b St Governors Ave, Suite 54999, Dover, DE 19904, that trades through a French operating entity, FLOURISH ROBOTS, a societe par actions simplifiee registered in Paris under SIREN 108893207 at 29 rue Tronchet, 75008 Paris, whose declared activity is research and development in the physical and natural sciences. The founder and President is Antoine Corentin Marcel, and the site's contact address, antoine@flourish-robots.com, matches him; he is the person behind Flourish 1 and speaks for the company in interviews. The French entity was registered on 18 August 2026 and has not declared employees or filed accounts. The robot is designed and assembled in Paris and sold from about 3,000 euros, offered as USD 3,555 on the site. Flourish Robots opened pre-orders on 29 September 2026 for Flourish 1, a wheeled household humanoid, with the first batch limited to 50 numbered units and units expected to ship in December 2026. The company's pitch is that owners teach the robot their own chores rather than buying a fixed skill set: the owner lays out a task's steps in the app by drag and drop in about five minutes, drives the robot from a phone for about thirty minutes from several positions in the room, and roughly an hour later receives a notification that the task is ready, after which it can be requested by voice or scheduled. Published example chores include putting shoes away, watering plants, scooping a cat's litter box, tidying toys and clothes, loading a dishwasher, wiping tables and fetching objects, and the robot also reports the weather, suggests an outfit, wakes the owner and records reminders. Its two grippers each carry a small camera to guide the gestures, and a lidar lets it adapt when furniture is moved. The price is reached by dropping what a home does not need: the founder's argument is that almost all housework happens at floor or table height, so Flourish 1 has no legs, no five-fingered hands and no waterproof arms rated for 10 kg, and instead uses simple grippers, a reach from the floor to about 89 cm and arms limited to 1.5 kg. The founder states that every robot is sold with a margin rather than at a loss. He is also candid about the limits: the first version is slow, taking about five minutes to put shoes away, it cannot climb stairs, a home too cluttered for a robot vacuum is too cluttered for it, and on simple tasks such as putting shoes away or watering plants it succeeds about 80 per cent of the time, up from 60 per cent a year earlier, with 99 per cent as the goal and no deadline given. Safety relies on the wheeled base not losing balance and on stopping whenever a human or animal enters its working area, resuming only once the way is clear. Repair is modular: the Paris technical team diagnoses a fault remotely with the customer and then guides them to replace the failed part themselves, and while the contractual terms disclaim warranty, the statutory two-year legal guarantee applies. The Terms of Sale describe Flourish 1 as an experimental product rather than a finished appliance, warn that it will sometimes fail at tasks it performed the day before, state that it is sold with no contractual warranty and no returns once delivered, take payment in full at order, exclude taxes, duties and shipping from the headline price, treat the shipping date as an expectation rather than a guarantee, and let a buyer cancel for a full refund before shipment.
