Beijing Institute of Technology Harbit Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
Beijing Institute of Technology Harbit (HARIBIT) was founded in September 2015 as a robotics spinoff of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). Its technology lineage traces to BIT's humanoid robotics laboratory, one of the earliest in China: the team built the first-generation "Huitong" biped in 2002 and completed the fifth generation by 2014. The company develops robot core components (frameless torque motors, integrated joints, precision reducers, servo motors) together with complete humanoid, quadruped and embodied-manipulation robots and system solutions, marketed as an "N+M+1" product matrix. Products address special-operations scenarios (disaster rescue, municipal maintenance, field surveying), power-line and outdoor inspection, home healthcare and commercial services; representative products include the SR02 special-operations humanoid, the XR01 all-weather quadruped inspection robot, multi-configuration composite lifting robots and a pneumatic lower-limb soft exoskeleton. Led by founder and chairman Zhang Weimin and general manager She Haotian, the company is a national high-tech enterprise and a Beijing "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" SME, holds a Class II medical device registration certificate and GJB weapons quality-management certification, and has led two national key R&D program projects. It closed an angel round in October 2024 and a nearly RMB 100 million Pre-A round in May 2026 (led by Jishi Venture Capital with Shenzhen Capital Group and Fangguang Capital). The company says channel orders exceed RMB 100 million, with revenue and order volume doubling for two consecutive years, and has set up wholly owned subsidiaries in Wuhan (Guanggu Huahui) and Aksu as well as a joint special humanoid laboratory with iSoftStone.
