Shanghai PsiBot Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
PsiBot, registered as Shanghai PsiBot Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and filing under Shanghai ICP record 2026013800-1, is a Chinese embodied-AI company founded in 2024 and based in Shanghai, dedicated to solving dexterous manipulation rather than to humanoid form for its own sake. It states its mission as creating infinite productivity with AI and robots and its vision as becoming a global leader in intelligent robotics, and it uses the line defining general embodied intelligence through ultimate dexterity. Its software centre is the end-to-end PSI series of models, and it runs a joint laboratory with Peking University. Its proprietary Psi-SynEngine embodied data collection engine is designed to acquire large volumes of high-quality real-world data at very low cost, and the company says it has completed small-scale validation in real logistics customer warehouses with a substantial breakthrough in sorting efficiency. The core architecture pairs Psi-R2, an operation policy model that takes vision, language and proprioceptive state as input and produces long-horizon task decomposition and continuous motion planning, with Psi-W0, an action-conditioned world model that models how the physical world behaves and predicts and corrects action trajectories; the two together are described as improving generalisation and robustness in unstructured settings, and Psi-R2 is reported to have topped the global MolmoSpace leaderboard. Its product line spans Psi Sim for simulation, Psi Data, Psi-R0, Psi-R0.5 and Psi-R1 models, PsiBot V1, PsiBot H1, PsiBot DC1 and PsiBot E1 robots, and the SynGlove Air teleoperation glove, which the company says cuts data collection cost to roughly a tenth of conventional teleoperation. PsiBot V1, also presented as Psi SynRobot and ψ-SynRobot, is its general-purpose robot platform for complex logistics, retail and industrial settings, built around an integrated operate-and-collect architecture so that every task it performs also deposits a training sample covering vision, touch and motion trajectory, and it entered volume production in April 2026. On financing, the company was backed from inception by Hillhouse Ventures and BlueRun Ventures, and in March 2026 it announced a cumulative CNY 2 billion angel and Pre-A financing backed by SDIC Financial, SDIC Vanguard and Xuhui Capital among state-owned and industrial investors. On 27 August 2026 it announced a further round of more than USD 100 million, bringing in Tuopu Group, Ruicheng Fund under Chery Holding, Lens Technology, 37 Interactive Entertainment, Wuhu Municipal Investment Holding and Fosun RZ Capital, with existing investor Zhuhai Technology Industry Group increasing its position. Proceeds are directed at frontier embodied-AI technology, the human-data route, world model research and the commercial deployment of logistics and advanced manufacturing scenarios, and the company benefits from Wuhu's position as China's first national-level robotics industry cluster pilot area, where it can reach more than 300 upstream and downstream suppliers.
