About

RoboForce, Inc. is a United States Physical AI robotics company founded in 2023 and based in Milpitas, California, working under the banner robotics for humanity. It builds what it calls Robo-Labor: a general-purpose AI robotic workforce for what the company describes as dull, dirty and dangerous industrial work, aimed at markets including utility-scale solar, data centres, shipping and port logistics, mining, manufacturing and logistics. Its product is TITAN, described as the world's most capable general-purpose AI robot, published with a maximum height of 210 cm, a 40 kg payload across the full workspace, 1,100 mm of arm reach and 8 hours of runtime per battery pack. TITAN is deliberately modular: the hand is an industrial robotic hand powered by cross-embodiment intelligence, the waist is a flexible module optimised for reach, payload and efficiency, and the base is an all-terrain platform supporting tracked, wheeled and other mobility configurations, which is why wheeled and tracked variants such as TITAN-W and TITAN-T exist. The company's technical stack rests on three parts: robot foundation models built for industrial deployment that enable millimetre-level manipulation, general-purpose robot platforms for indoor and outdoor use, and proprietary real-world industrial data augmented with simulation and a world model. RoboForce works with NVIDIA as its AI backbone, using NVIDIA Jetson Thor at the edge together with Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Cosmos for synthetic data generation and OSMO for cloud-to-edge orchestration. Its stated design principles are to solve human needs rather than replicate human form, to make each deployment improve the next through an AI-centric design, and to keep robots direct and simple with three to five times the improvement of existing solutions. The founding team comes from Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Michigan, Amazon Robotics, Google, Waymo, Cruise, Tesla Robotics, ABB and Apple, and the company is chaired in spirit by a founder who publishes on the RoboForce Way. It exited stealth in 2025, was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2025, signed its first commercial pilot, secured a letter of intent for 10,000 units and was highlighted in Jensen Huang's GTC keynote. On 16 March 2026 it announced a USD 52 million oversubscribed round led by YZi Labs, a USD 10 billion fund, with Jerry Yang, co-founder and former chief executive of Yahoo, joining existing investors Myron Scholes, the Nobel laureate economist, Gary Rieschel, founding partner of Qiming Ventures, and Carnegie Mellon University, bringing total funding to USD 67 million. The company employs no telephone contact and publishes hello@roboforce.ai instead.

Released RF-Net v1, completed the TITAN Design v1, built the TITAN prototype and launched TITAN-W.
2025
TITAN was publicly introduced.
2025
Exited stealth and reached a series of firsts: a first-place Physical AI award for industrial deployment, the launch of TITAN-T, a new headquarters office, a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer award, its first commercial pilot signed, a letter of intent for 10,000 robots and a highlight in Jensen Huang's GTC keynote.
2026
Announced on 16 March 2026 a USD 52 million oversubscribed round led by YZi Labs with Jerry Yang participating alongside existing investors Myron Scholes, Gary Rieschel and Carnegie Mellon University, bringing total funding to USD 67 million.
