About

Robot.com, registered as Robot.com Holdings Inc. and trading as Robot.com, is a United States robotics company founded in 2017 and based in Berkeley, California. It began life as Kiwibot, which joined the Propel(x) platform in 2019 for a pre-Series A round, and it rebranded as Robot.com in 2025, describing the change as an evolution from a food delivery startup into a global automation company. The company launched under the new name on 29 October 2025 stating that it had completed more than 1.7 million real-world robot tasks and had more than 500 robots operating globally, serving delivery, logistics and advertising customers across the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, and it reports deployments in production environments with Sodexo, Canada's SKIP, a Fortune 500 company automating secure deliveries for a United States semiconductor manufacturer, and Amazon Web Services for a global advertising campaign. Its stated position is to build robots for now rather than someday, and it argues that its design made automation approachable, disarming by design and powerful in effect. It sells through a Robot-as-a-Service model rather than outright purchase, and it claims a site visit to a working robot on a customer floor in eight to twelve weeks. Its robot family shares a platform: R-noid for humanoid labour, R-kiwi for campus and sidewalk delivery with level 4 autonomy, a 12-hour battery and 19 litres of capacity, R-cargo for logistics, R-dog, a quadruped concept shown in August 2026 for last-mile delivery that can traverse stairs and curbs, and R-ads, an advertising platform that turns the fleet into measurable mobile out-of-home media inventory. The company works with NVIDIA on its robotics stack including Jetson modules and Isaac Sim, with Physical Intelligence whose pi0.7 vision-language-action model runs the R-noid manipulation, with FieldAI on Field Foundation Models, with Yukai Engineering on design and on R-soul, the expression system, and with Formic and Astribot. On the commercial side it signed a seven-year autonomous delivery agreement with Sodexo in August 2026, its largest single enterprise deployment, extending a relationship that began in 2021, and in September 2026 extended its Grubhub agreement by three years to ten more campuses while adding robot advertising. It also signed a USD 2 million North America export agreement with Korea's DOGU Robotics for iroi indoor patrol robots. Robot.com is funded by investors including Headline, the UC Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, Sodexo VC, New Future Capital, Innosphere Ventures Fund and Tylt Ventures, and in April 2026 it appointed Gregory D. Smith, chairman of American Airlines, as a board observer.
