Vita Power (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd
Vita Power (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd, which trades as Vita Dynamics and in Chinese as 维他动力 and sells under the brand Vbot, is a Beijing company founded in December 2024 that calls itself China's first consumer-grade embodied intelligence company and describes its purpose as creating robots for living spaces. It was founded by three people with automotive and chip backgrounds: Yu Yinan, a former vice president at Horizon Robotics who led the Journey processor series and holds a doctorate from the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Song Wei, formerly chief software platform architect at Horizon Robotics; and Zhao Zhelun, formerly intelligent driving product director at Li Auto. It has research centres in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen and a team of more than one hundred people. Its first product is the Vbot robot dog, which took 6,540 presale orders worth nearly one hundred million yuan, a figure the company presents as the highest for a consumer-grade embodied intelligence product, began domestic mass production in April 2026 and started delivery on 8 May 2026 with the first 500 units off the line, while a global version was planned for the second quarter of 2026 entering North America, Europe and the Middle East. At the World Robot Conference on 19 August 2026 the company showed its full family and introduced Vbot ATOM, a humanoid embodied intelligence terminal designed for living spaces, standing 160 cm with a 180 cm arm span and 95 cm legs and carrying 31 body degrees of freedom across its head, arms, waist and legs, alongside a face screen, ear lights, a full fabric covering and quiet soles. It also launched the EDU-W wheeled-leg version of its dog at 49,988 yuan and published the Vbot Embodied Genome technical system with three core models: Vbot-OmniDuplex for real-time multimodal full-duplex interaction, Vbot-WorldModel for predicting and evaluating candidate futures, and Vbot-EvoMorph for sharing environment understanding, policy backbones and action representations across quadruped, wheeled-leg and humanoid bodies through embodiment adaptation and real-sim-real training. It said its humanoid is aimed at four service spaces, the home, retail, public and office, and it received a European Union product certification from TUV Rheinland during the launch, opening European sales. Usage data from the dog is central to its story: 1.26 million large-model interactions, 23,700 km of companion mileage, 131,500 hours of companionship and 86 per cent two-week user retention, with four OTA releases in three months adding 31 features. On 11 May 2026 it announced a Pre-A round of nearly 500 million yuan, led jointly by Orient Jiabao, Huatai Zijin and Fosun Ruizheng with Shangqi Capital, part of SAIC, and Minghui Zhiyuan joining and existing shareholders including Cathay Capital, Capital Today, Hillhouse Ventures, Wince Capital, BV Baidu Ventures and Borui Capital following on. The company called it the largest single financing in the consumer-grade embodied intelligence sector and its fourth round, taking cumulative financing past 700 million yuan. Proceeds go to mass production, a sales network and developing a next-generation humanoid, led by the newly appointed vice president of R&D Qin Hailong, along with a hand-foot unified world model and an Agentic OS embodied operating system.
