
Robonaut 2(R2)
Robonaut 2 (R2) is a humanoid robot jointly developed by NASA and General Motors, unveiled in 2010 and delivered to the International Space Station in 2011. Its upper torso is about 1.02 m tall, with approximately 42 degrees of freedom, and it was designed for in-cabin assistance and future space-exploration tasks.
