VB1 (VersaBot, Chinese brand name 威宝) is a wheeled dual-arm humanoid robot from Weimaier (VMR), the humanoid brand of Lanxin Robotics. It was first shown as VersaBot VB-1 at the 2024 World Robot Conference on 2024-08-23, presented at the time as the world's first pure-vision humanoid robot; the current official product page documents the VB1 revision. It measures 700 x 610 x 1650 mm, drives on a four-wheel omnidirectional base at up to 1.2 m/s and carries two six-axis arms with electric grippers, a 580 mm reach envelope and a 2 kg single-arm payload, with the operating height adjustable from 0.4 m to 2 m by a lifting column. Perception uses Lanxin's own 3D vision sensors — a T2 sensor for positioning and navigation, an H3310 sensor for grasping and an S3 sensor for 360-degree obstacle avoidance — alongside a panoramic RGB-D depth vision system and 3D Laser SLAM navigation, so the robot localises without floor markings and can detect both low and suspended obstacles. Control runs on a self-developed VMR core controller. The robot is sold on quotation and is positioned for industrial handling, automotive intralogistics, commercial offices, smart manufacturing, smart home and medical companionship.
