ALICE 4
ALICE 4 is AeiROBOT's bipedal humanoid and the most capable machine in the ALICE family: 160 cm tall, about 45 kg, and 41 degrees of freedom split across two 6-DoF legs, a 1-DoF waist, two 7-DoF arms, a 2-DoF head and two 6-DoF hands. Its control computer is an Intel Core i7-1370PE while perception runs on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, and it senses through a stereo depth camera, a 6-axis IMU and a custom foot contact sensor. The design rests on AeiROBOT's own linear actuators, which use no reducer; that gives more precise force-based control and lets the robot respond naturally to physical contact with people, runs quietly, and — with several actuators arranged in parallel — maximises energy efficiency while adding durability. Impedance control on the arms lets it react to external forces, which matters for a robot working alongside humans, and the embedded AI stack runs on the onboard computer rather than depending on a network, using a low-power design with hardware optimisation and lightweight data. Because it walks on two legs rather than wheels, the company positions it for stairs, narrow spaces and uneven ground where wheeled robots cannot go. ALICE 4 has been exhibited at MWC 2025 and MWC 2026 carrying LG Uplus's IXI AI, and its humanoid shipbuilding use case was presented in the CES 2026 keynote by NVIDIA's Jensen Huang.
