Amoo runs on Dino OS, the company's embodied character foundation model, whose dual-brain closed loop combines a big-brain/small-brain division of labour with a fast-brain/slow-brain response and upgrades interaction from hearing and executing to understanding, acting and feeding back. The company states that Amoo is the industry's first humanoid robot to achieve coordination between big/small brain decision-making and a fast/slow human-like brain strategy. No processor or module is published for Amoo specifically.
Sensors
Panoramic vision, sound source localization and full-body tactile sensing working together to capture emotion and respond in milliseconds

Amoo is Cyan Robotics' first embodied character and the smaller of its two robots: an 80 cm ultra-compact bipedal humanoid built to be a character rather than a tool. The company's whole approach shows in the body, which is wrapped in proprietary full-body real plush that has to balance heat dissipation against a skin-friendly feel, and which is edgeless by design so there is nothing to pinch and no exposed metal anywhere. It walks on two legs autonomously, avoiding obstacles and searching across rooms to track its user, and it perceives through panoramic vision, sound source localization and full-body tactile sensing, which together let it pick up emotion and respond within milliseconds rather than waiting to be spoken to. Cyan says it is the industry's first humanoid to coordinate big-brain and small-brain decision-making with a fast-brain and slow-brain human-like strategy, the same dual-brain closed loop that Dino OS gives its robots. It is deliberately quiet, and the company describes it as understanding you rather than as a non-player character. Its published roles are character performance and everyday companionship, and it has been taken into a co-branded collaboration with MGM Shanghai West Bund, which Cyan presents as the first proof that its character IP can leave the product and work in a real commercial setting. No price, weight, degree-of-freedom count or battery figure is published.

Application Scenarios

Character performance and role portrayal; everyday companionship and emotional interaction in the home; proactive user tracking and interaction in complex indoor environments; brand co-branding and hospitality scenarios, as demonstrated by the MGM Shanghai West Bund collaboration.
