J-PANDA (Jinbao) is the world's first humanoid robot built around the giant-panda IP, unveiled at the Chengdu Two Sessions on 2026-01-28 and developed by the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center (via its wholly-owned subsidiary Chengdu Xingjin Humanoid Robot Technology). It stands 1.52 m with 21 degrees of freedom and a "space panda" exterior. Using self-developed cerebellar control technology and high-dynamic motion-control models it achieves high-speed straight-knee walking, dynamic balance and adaptation to complex terrain. It offers triple voice, motion and eye-expression interaction, and a large language model from the centre enables scenario-based autonomous dialogue in multiple languages and the Sichuan dialect. Target uses include guiding, performances and group dance in culture, commerce, tourism and sports venues; it has appeared at international exhibitions such as MWC 2026 and has overseas intended orders.
