Mantis Pro
Mantis Pro is the generation of Blue Worm's modular wheeled humanoid that came before Mantis Standard, and it is the machine the company took to the first World Humanoid Robot Games, where it finished third in the warehouse mixed-material sorting scenario. It is the larger and heavier of the two released models: up to 1.75 metres tall with an adjustable height, 75 kg, 24 degrees of freedom and a 10 kg end-effector payload per arm, running for more than five hours, able to turn through 360 degrees in place and to clear obstacles up to 5 cm high. Against that, Mantis Standard is roughly half the weight and half the volume with about half the parts, which is the trade the company made when it moved from 10 kg to 7 kg per arm to reach a 9,800 yuan starting price. Mantis Pro is positioned for commercial service, light industrial operations and research. It shares its technical route with its successor: low-latency control across five sensing dimensions, adaptive grasp planning, cloud-coordinated scheduling, and stereo vision in which the operator sees a three-dimensional scene reconstructed from two live high-definition feeds rather than flat video. Like the rest of the family it is a wheeled rather than legged machine, a deliberate choice because the work it targets is upper-limb dominated.
