RoBee F
RoBee F is the intralogistics member of Oversonic's RoBee family, a heavy humanoid cognitive robot built for warehouses and production facilities. It combines articulated bimanual manipulation, an autonomous omnidirectional base and a rear module for transport and storage, and the company's pitch is that it automates material flows in dynamic environments without the rigidity of fixed automation, cutting cycle times, ensuring traceability and improving workplace safety. It is the largest of the three variants by a wide margin: 850 kg standing 200 cm on an 80 by 120 cm footprint, against 293 kg for the industrial RoBee R and 150 kg for the healthcare RoBee M. Its two arms are 7-axis articulated with 120 cm of reach, and it handles 10 kg per arm and 20 kg with both, while its rear module moves standard europallets and containers and is rated for 500 kg of rear axle transport. A pneumatic lift with axial rotation raises and turns the working height to reach multiple levels of shelving and storage. It navigates omnidirectionally on an AMR and AGV base with SIL 3 obstacle detection, at up to 0.6 m/s - deliberately half the speed of its siblings - and it manipulates more precisely than they do, repeating to plus or minus 0.5 mm, with cognitive accuracy of plus or minus 5 mm and deterministic accuracy of plus or minus 1 mm. Cameras and AI handle object recognition and corrective control, with lidars and cameras for navigation and depth cameras for vision and video streaming, plus power and force feedback through the motor controls. People interact through a touchscreen, a voicebot and visual signalling, with 60 W speakers and a cardioid microphone, over WiFi 6 with 5G readiness. Lithium-ion batteries give up to 8 hours of typical use on AC 230 V in indoor environments from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. It is certified to ISO 9001, CE, EMC-EMI, IPX4 and GDPR.
