Computing
Oversonic's cognitive platform, the same software ecosystem the family shares. The healthcare variant adds a healthcare suite alongside multilingual conversation, a mission building and execution graph, an ML Studio for vision training, a multimodal reasoning engine, predictive maintenance and an integrated touch display. Connectivity is WiFi 6 and 5G ready, the robot connects to electronic health records and existing hospital IT systems, and it sends clinical and operational data to hospital systems in real time. No processor, module or accelerator is published.
Sensors
Navigation by lidars and cameras; vision and video streaming; depth cameras

RoBee M is the healthcare member of Oversonic's RoBee family, built for hospitals, rehabilitation centres and elderly care facilities. It combines autonomous mobility, natural interaction and data-driven intelligence, and the company's aim is that it slots into existing clinical workflows without staff or patients needing technical training. Safety is framed around sensitivity rather than around fencing: the robot is designed to keep operating even if it is accidentally pushed, hit or obstructed, which is what lets it share space with patients. It carries CE Medical Device Class 1 marking with GDPR and ISO compliance, and the company points to clinical trials at Fondazione Santa Lucia. It is considerably smaller and lighter than the industrial RoBee R: 150 kg against 293 kg, standing 180 cm on a 56 by 53 cm footprint, with 70 cm of arm reach and 6 plus 6 degrees of freedom in its legs, moving on eight 100 mm mecanum wheels in an omnidirectional arrangement at up to 1.2 m/s and up to an 8 per cent slope. It handles up to 5 kg per arm and 10 kg with both, repeats to plus or minus 0.8 mm, and runs for up to 4 hours of typical use on lithium-ion batteries recharged by contact on AC 230 V. Its published jobs are rehabilitation support, guiding patients through neuromotor and cognitive exercises; vital sign monitoring, tracking health metrics and passing them to medical staff; autonomous logistics, moving independently across wards; and voice interaction with patients, doctors and caregivers. It connects to electronic health records and existing hospital IT systems and transfers clinical and operational data in real time, over WiFi 6 with 5G readiness, and it can be spoken to naturally. Sensing is by lidars and cameras with depth cameras for vision and video streaming, and interaction runs through a 60 W speaker, a cardioid microphone and an integrated voicebot. On the software side it shares Oversonic's cognitive platform, adding a healthcare suite to multilingual conversation, a mission graph, an ML Studio for vision training, a multimodal reasoning engine and predictive maintenance. The company says the RoBee name comes from the bee, a symbol of tireless work and collective intelligence, and that the robot is designed to work as one of a network rather than alone.
