CUE7 is Toyota seventh-generation AI basketball robot, developed by a Toyota employee-volunteer team, debuted at Toyota Arena (Tokyo) on 2026-04-12. Standing 2.18 m and weighing 74 kg, it evolved from a fixed-position free-throw shooter into an all-round player able to shoot and dribble like a human player. It uses an intelligent vision and control system: standing still on the court, it locks onto the hoop with sensors, estimates distance and performs AI-driven precise shooting. The CUE series is famous for setting a Guinness World Record of 2,020 consecutive free throws (2019).
