Guanggu Dongzhi (HECbot) is a Wuhan-based humanoid robot manufacturer founded on 26 February 2025 as a joint venture backed by the Dongyangguang (HEC) Group together with AgiBot, Peking University Wuhan Institute for Artificial Intelligence and PsiBot. It designs and builds complete humanoid robots and delivers embodied-intelligence scenario solutions under the slogan "close the last mile of robot scenario deployment", and states that it is the first full-humanoid-robot maker in central China with scale production capability. Its Photon (光子/Lumen) family covers the Lumen H1 interactive-service humanoid, the wheeled Lumen H1D, the Lumen S1 full-intelligence agile humanoid, the Lumen Q1 quadruped, and the Lumen P1/P2 cleaning robots. Its Taicang-scale Wuhan plant reports six core production lines, three prototype pilot lines and an annual capacity of 300 units with 40% localized sourcing, and its robots have been deployed in elderly care, news media, entertainment and exhibitions, including appearances at the Hubei Spring Festival Gala and the national Two Sessions as reporter robots.
