About

Hangzhou Lanxin Robotics Co., Ltd. (Lanxin Robotics, Chinese short name 蓝芯科技) was founded in June 2016 as Hangzhou Lanxin Technology Co., Ltd. and converted to a joint-stock company under its current name in 2025; it is registered in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, and is one of the first companies to move into China (Hangzhou) Artificial Intelligence Town. It is a national-level specialised and sophisticated "little giant" enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise, founded and led by CEO Dr. Gao Yong with a founding team drawn from China's first generation of security-vision companies. Lanxin builds its stack around the self-developed LX-MRDVS mobile-robot depth-vision system, and describes itself as the earliest Chinese robot company to develop 3D visual perception for mobile robots and to put it into volume whole-machine deployment. Its portfolio covers 3D vision sensors (S, M, V and H series), 3D-vision industrial mobile robots (AMRs, autonomous forklifts, stackers and loading/unloading compound robots), AMR core controllers, the MCS/RCS intralogistics software platform whose fleet scheduler manages more than 30 AGV brands, and humanoid robots plus humanoid core components. The humanoid business is carried by Weimaier (威迈尔, VMR), the second operation centre Lanxin set up in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou in 2024, which ships humanoid-dedicated chassis (H6, H6 Mini, H3) and the VersaBot (威宝) humanoid line VB1, VB1-I and VB2. Customers include Huawei, BYD, CATL, LG Energy Solution, Foxconn, Desay Battery, Midea, ZTE and Toyota, with cumulative mobile-robot shipments above 10,000 units. In May 2025 Lanxin closed a C+ round of several hundred million RMB led by Kunpeng Fund, earmarked for 3D vision sensors, humanoid robot AI and global supply chain and service upgrades, and the company has said it has put an IPO on its agenda.
